New Zealand has done it. “Elimination does not mean zero cases, it means zero tolerance for cases” according to Jacinda Ardern, the Prime Minister. There is no widespread undetected community transmission of the coronavirus, so people are released from the toughest measures of the New Zealand lockdown.
