Keir Starmer on standards, HS2 and migrant boats

The Labour Party this week recorded its first poll lead over the Conservatives for almost a year in the wake of the row over Tory sleaze and second jobs. The government’s decision on Thursday to dispense with the eastern leg of HS2 has led to further scrutiny. Now the majority of pollsters have the parties neck and neck.
