Former President Donald Trump was found guilty in a civil case for sexually abusing E Jean Carroll, a magazine columnist, in a New York department store in the 1990s. However, he was found not liable for rape. The BBC’s North America editor, Sarah Smith, told us more about what this meant for his presidential campaign, and the nature of the case itself.
