Free school meals should be given to 800,000 children living in poverty in England but who are not currently eligible to receive them, says a new campaign backed by famous chiefs such as Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall and Jamie Oliver. The Feed The Future campaign claims expanding school meals to those households on universal credit has benefits which means the policy will pay for itself.
