Episode 29: Dr. Fenwa Milhouse
Dr Fenwa Famakinwa Milhouse is a fellowship-trained, board certified urologist specializing in female pelvic floor reconstruction at Dupage Medical group in Illinois.Originally born in Nigeria, she grew up in Texas where her undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Texas Austin. She then went on to University of Texas at Houston for medical school where she developed her love for urology after hearing a lecture about urology given by an African American woman urologist. She trained at the University of Chicago for urology residency. Thereafter, she completed her fellowship at Metro Urology in Minneapolis in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. She is a wife and mother of 3. She is passionate about introducing young people to urology and mentoring underrepresented minorities pursuing medicine.
