Adenomyosis and fertility

Dr. Natalie Crawford discusses adenomyosis including, what it is, how it differs from endometriosis, why it occurs, and what having adenomyosis means for fertility. Adenomyosis changes the normal function and structure of the uterus; but, there is little research and evidence to guide us on treatments, so your period often acts as your sounding guide.   In this week’s Fertility in the News, Natalie discusses an article in Medical News Today that analyzes results from a Scandanavian study that indicates alcohol has a negative effect on fertility treatments while caffeine appears to be safe.    Finally, Natalie answers your social media questions during her segment FFS—For Fertility’s Sake. What are some tips for handling the side effects of letrozole? How many embryos are recommended to conceive two children? Is Lupus anticoagulants treatable?   Don't forget to ask your questions on Instagram for next week’s For Fertility’s Sake segment when you see the question box on Natalie’s page @nataliecrawfordmd. You can also ask a question by calling in and leaving a voicemail. Call 657–229–3672 and ask your fertility question today!      Thanks to our amazing sponsor!
