The biggest mistake we make in treating anxiety is believing it’s because of the thoughts in our mind. What we refer to as “anxiety” is, at its core, a sense of ALARM from old childhood trauma stored in the body. Because the thoughts of worry IMMEDIATELY come before the FEELING of alarm, we make the mistake of believing the thoughts are the cause.
