In 1985, a bright, spunky 8-year-old girl got off the bus in Butler County, Pennsylvania. She chatted with her friends until they all went their separate ways. Cherrie Mahan only had to walk around the corner and go up her 150-foot driveway to make it home where her parents were waiting for her.
