What would an All Black great do?

Last week I shared an insight from Jonny Wilkinson, so it only fair I share an insight from the other candidate for greatest fly half of all time. At the age of 28, Dan Carter, was in his prime. He got injured in the training camp prior to the 2011 world cup which was based in his home country of New Zealand. Remembering the goal he set himself, instead of wallowing in self-pity, he focused on doing what an All Black great would do... which was to be a great team mate. This is a reminder that in this present moment, we can benefit from the wisdom, guidance and accountability of our future selves. Take a moment and focus on who you are becoming and then ask yourself, what would they do in your current situation?
