Today’s reading is from Matthew 26:17-31. The disciples and Jesus celebrated the Passover as we continue to celebrate it today. Jesus used this meal to remind His disciples and us that God is faithful in His promises. Jesus took the bread and told them that this bread is His body, and the wine, His blood. Under the circumstances the disciples was about to face, this was an important reminder of God’s redemption, His promises and His faithfulness.
