Im Zuge ihrer Vorbereitung für die olympischen Spiele in Tokio 2020 fand sie Zeit für ein lockeres Gespräch mit Afrika für Almans, rund um den Fechtsport, ihre Perspektive mit und auf Kenia sowie ihre Erfahrungen beim Errichten der Kenyan Fencing Federation. (ENG) Rebecca Nzellé Ewang is a Kenyan-Cameroonian Joburger who currently studies International Relations in Ankara, Turkey. And as a long-time debater she is predestined to provide us with a broad view on Kenyan politics, economics, geography and history. Being the power-house of Eastern Africa Kenya offers an infinite amount of issues to discuss. In this fluid conversation we speak about minority protection, the Eastern African Community (EAC), her experiences as a member of the Kenyian diaspora and many other interesting aspects with regards to her mother's homeland.
